The youngest brand in the Erwin Hymer Group is Crosscamp, which started with innovative "urban motorhomes. For model year 2024, the brand is introducing three new models in the larger camper van category: the Flex 531, the Full 600 and the Full 640.
The most compact of the trio is the Flex 541 with a length of 5.40 meters. Behind the driver's seat is a rail integrated into the floor on which you can attach an additional seat or a two-seater bench lengthwise if you wish. You can also turn that bench into a double bed, but you can also fold the bench completely. This creates space for two mountain bikes, a light motorcycle or complete kite equipment, for example.
Flexible kitchen and shower
The kitchen is partially removable, giving the Flex 541 even more uses. Also innovative is the flexible shower unit, which you attach to the ceiling with hooks. It hardly takes up any space when not in use, but that shower unit can also be used to hold a portable toilet. As with the larger Flex models, the 541 can also be optionally equipped with a lifting roof, creating two additional sleeping places on a slatted base and a 6-inch-thick mattress 1.43 meters wide and 2.09 long.
Crosscamp FULL 600
Slightly larger is the Crosscamp FULL 600, which is about 6 meters long, and even one size larger is the Crosscamp FULL 640. These two campervans have a more traditional layout with the bed in the back, kitchen and toilet in the middle and a living lounge directly behind the swivel cab seats The three newcomers have the Opel Movano as their base, standard equipped with a Euro 6d Final diesel engine with 140 hp, which you can upgrade to 165 hp.
During Kampeer & Caravan Jaarbeurs (October 4-8, Jaarbeurs Utrecht) the Crosscamp Flex models will be on display for the first time in the Netherlands. They will be introduced as 'Unlimited Editions' with luxury extras now included in the price. Such as flat windows, an awning with lighting and a diesel parking heater. Prices start at around 63,500 euros.
